KU HINA Collection

he KU HINA Collection is a set of personal LOMILOMI oils to revive your body chemistry. KU HINA brings both the masculine and the feminine energies together to heal the body. The KU HINA Collection is a mixture of traditional Hawaiian oils which are used to ameliorate the body. The Kanaka Maoli, Hawaiians, view the body very differently then other healing perspectives. We believe that all ailments are unique to the individual, therefore the healing modality used should be itself unique

We have created this set of LA'AU LAPA'AU/LOMILOMI healing oils so that each individual can apply them on their body incrementally to acclimate the oils to the body. Hence one combination of oils will differ for each individual. Because of the potency of these oils the individual should always start with WAIHONUA and work up to WAIOMANA, WAI'ANAE, WAIMAUNALOA, WAIKAUPO and WAIKA'U. For most people, the first three oils are all that is needed. However, when applied in LOMILOMI, the oils act as a healing agent, healing from the inside out.

The first oil is named for the Earth. The next five oils are named for the hot sides of the five larger islands starting with Kaua'i, O'ahu, Moloka'i, Mau'i and Hawai'i. The heat energy generated in the LOMILOMI process is what helps the body heal itself. When used in LOMILOMI, these oils have been effective with minor skin ailments, muscle pain and cartilage discomfort. When first applying the oils you may notice a skin breakout or an inflammation on the immediate area or another area altogether. If this occurs pause for a day then apply the oil a second time. This is occurring because the body is healing itself. If the breakout or redness continues stop using the oil.
